Most cities are covered in headlines about their newest buildings and their biggest changes. Far fewer stories are told about the quieter corners in between — the closed storefront that used to be a bakery, the rowhouse block that has outlasted three generations of owners, the empty lot everyone has an opinion about but nobody has fully explained.

stagevibefy.info exists to slow down and look closely at these places. Since our first short documentary about a converted grain elevator on the Prairies, our small team has followed leads across Canada — from harbourfront warehouses to suburban strip malls — always asking the same question: what does this place mean to the people who still live around it?

We are not archivists and we are not architecture critics. We are documentary storytellers who believe a building's history is best understood through the voices of the people who know it.
